What are the TG LAWCET/PGLCET 2026 Final Phase dates?

The official Final Phase schedule begins with online registration cum verification, fee payment and certificate uploading from September 15 to September 17, 2026. The verified list is scheduled for September 18, web options run from September 19 to September 21, provisional allotment is scheduled for September 25 and college reporting continues through September 29.

What happens after registration closes?

The next scheduled material checkpoint is September 18, when the verified eligible-candidate list is due. Web options then follow from September 19 to 21, with provisional allotment scheduled for September 25.

TG LAWCET 2026 final phase counselling begins on September 15. The Telangana Council of Higher Education has released the Final Phase schedule for TG LAWCET and TG PGLCET 2026 admissions, covering registration and verification, the verified-candidate list, web options, provisional allotment and college reporting.

The most important point is that Final Phase participation is not automatically open to every earlier-phase candidate. The current official counselling portal says candidates who were allotted a seat in Second Phase but did not report, or who cancelled that admission, are not permitted to participate in Final Phase counselling.

The published Final Phase workflow runs from registration on September 15–17 through college reporting by September 29.

Who should use the September 15–17 registration window?

Candidates who are eligible for Final Phase and still need to complete the registration or verification steps specified by TGCHE should use the September 15–17 window. The exact action depends on the candidate’s earlier counselling state.

Candidates whose certificates were already successfully verified in an earlier phase should not assume they must repeat every verification step solely because Final Phase has opened. They should follow the current Final Phase instructions applicable to their existing verified status and proceed to the relevant option-entry stage when eligible.

What should candidates do in Final Phase?

1. Check whether you are eligible

Before paying or registering again, check your previous counselling status. In particular, review whether you received a Second Phase allotment and what happened after that allotment.

2. Complete registration or verification if it applies to you

The Final Phase registration cum verification, payment and certificate-upload window is September 15–17.

3. Check the verified-candidate list

TGCHE has scheduled publication of the verified eligible-candidate list for September 18. Candidates should confirm that their details and eligibility state are correct before option entry.

4. Enter Final Phase web options

Web options are scheduled from September 19 through September 21. Candidates should use the current eligible college and course choices shown by the official counselling system rather than relying on an old option list or third-party vacancy table.

5. Check the provisional allotment

The Final Phase provisional seat allotment is scheduled for September 25. Registration or option entry does not itself guarantee a seat.

6. Complete college reporting if allotted

Allotted candidates should follow the current allotment instructions and complete the required reporting process within the published period, which runs through September 29.

Who cannot participate because of the Second Phase rule?

The current official TG LAWCET counselling portal states that candidates who were allotted a seat in Second Phase but did not report to the allotted institution are not permitted to participate in Final Phase counselling.

The same restriction applies to candidates who received a Second Phase allotment and then cancelled their admission.

This restriction is important because a candidate may see a new Final Phase registration window and assume it creates another unrestricted chance to participate. The official instruction does not support that interpretation.

TG LAWCET/PGLCET Final Phase schedule

Stage Published date What the candidate should verify
Registration, verification, payment and certificate upload September 15–17 Whether this step applies to your current counselling state
Verified eligible-candidate list September 18 Your name, details and verification status
Web options September 19–21 Current eligible colleges and courses before final submission
Provisional allotment September 25 Your allotted college/course and candidate-specific instructions
College reporting Through September 29 Allotment-order requirements and reporting completion

Does Final Phase registration guarantee a seat?

No. Completing registration, verification or web options does not guarantee allotment. A seat still depends on the counselling rules, candidate eligibility, merit or rank, submitted options and seats available in the relevant course and college.

TPS has not verified a final course-by-course vacancy total that can be applied safely to every candidate, so candidates should rely on the current counselling portal rather than an older vacancy list.

Is there an extension after September 17?

No extension is confirmed in the current evidence. Candidates should therefore treat September 17 as the controlling registration and verification cutoff unless TGCHE publishes a revised schedule.

If TGCHE extends registration, changes the web-option period, postpones the September 25 allotment or modifies reporting instructions, that would materially change the current page and should be treated as a same-canonical update.

Where should candidates check the official counselling state?

Candidates should use the official TG LAWCET/PGLCET counselling system for their current registration, verification, option and allotment status. Open the official TG LAWCET counselling portal.

Verification note

ThePulseSignal reviewed the TGCHE Final Phase press note and the current official TG LAWCET counselling portal. The primary notice establishes the September 15–29 workflow, while the current portal confirms the September 15–17 registration window and the restriction affecting certain candidates who received a Second Phase allotment but did not report or cancelled admission.

What remains unresolved?

TGCHE may still revise dates, extend a deadline or publish updated vacancy or reporting instructions. No extension beyond September 17 is confirmed, and TPS has not established a final college-by-college vacancy count that can be safely generalized to all candidates.
