Which BOCW Digital Labour Chowk service is confirmed live?
Madhya Pradesh currently has the clearest directly observable service. The public Digital Labour Chowk of MP app listing describes worker and employer functions and provides a usable State-level access point.

How can a Madhya Pradesh worker use Digital Labour Chowk?
The current MP app listing says workers registered through Samagra can browse available work opportunities and express interest based on their skills and job requirements. That is a Madhya Pradesh-specific workflow and should not be assumed to apply unchanged in another State.

How can a Madhya Pradesh employer post work?
The current app description says employers can post work using identifiers such as a Factory ID, Shop Licence Number or Contractor Licence Number. It also describes a route for households to post smaller work requirements. The precise credential path may depend on the type of employer, so users should follow the current State service instructions rather than copying a workflow from another State.
Have all nine State and UT Digital Labour Chowks launched?
Not yet on the evidence TPS reviewed. The Ministry said nine States and Union Territories would unveil State BOCW Digital Labour Chowk initiatives during the September 11–12 conference, but TPS has not recovered public official workflows for every announced jurisdiction.
That means TPS should currently separate three states: scheduled, publicly accessible and operationally usable. Madhya Pradesh has direct public evidence for the latter two; the broader rollout still needs State-by-State confirmation.
Are the Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal BOCW cess portals live?
TPS has not verified live public portal workflows for either State during this review. The Ministry announcement says Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal were to inaugurate online BOCW cess portals during the conference, but the wording reviewed does not itself prove that the portals are already publicly usable.
Until a direct State or Ministry service URL is recovered, TPS should not publish payment steps, login instructions, cess-calculation guidance or receipt workflows for those new portals.
Is Digital Labour Chowk completely new in 2026?
No. The central Digital Labour Chowk and online BOCW cess system were launched nationally in November 2025. The September 2026 development is a State-level implementation and expansion phase, which is why individual State availability now matters more than the earlier national announcement.
Can one State’s workflow be used for another State?
No such uniformity is established. The MP workflow is directly supported for Madhya Pradesh, including its Samagra-linked worker path and employer credential examples. TPS has not verified that the same registration, identity or employer requirements apply in Maharashtra, Telangana, Delhi, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh or Odisha.
What should workers and employers check now?
Use only the State-specific Digital Labour Chowk service or official BOCW Board route relevant to the worker or employer.
Do not rely only on a launch announcement when no public State workflow is available yet.
For MP, the current listing describes a Samagra-linked worker route; do not generalise that requirement nationally.
Do not enter payment or establishment details into an unofficial portal merely because the Ministry announced a future State cess launch.
What happens next?
The September 11–12 conference is the next material checkpoint. A Ministry or State launch-completion release, public State portal, official app, user manual or live cess-payment workflow should update this same URL rather than create another page for the same launch-status reader job.
